About

The Outlook Riding Academy is a family-run equestrian centre located in Terrigal on the Central Coast that offers - horse riding, birthday parties, trail riding, school camps, holiday day camps, picnics & horse riding lessons in groups or private.

The Outlook Riding Academy offers horse riders a truly unique experience, combining well-schooled horses & ponies with an expert team of professional instructors. Our horses, who enjoy their work as much as we do, are calm and sound so that you can be confident of a pleasurable ride. Our rides and lessons are social occasions too, with many riders forming great friendships which continue beyond the stables.

Set on 18 beautiful acres, we offer private and group horse riding lessons for all ages and abilities - beginner adult and senior riders are welcome, too! We also offer accommodation at The Outlook Cabana

Our ‘herd’ includes ponies and horses, ranging in age and size. Programs are creative and enjoyable and can be matched to your individual goals. All staff at the academy have extensive horse knowledge, coaching, teaching and riding experience.

For psychology services and corporate programs please contact the team directly at Outlook Ecotherapy.

Sarndie, Director.

Sarndie (best known as Sam) is a busy business owner, wife and mother to four kids, eight horses, twelve sheep, four chooks, three alpacas and two cats!

She established The Outlook Riding Academy as a boutique equestrian centre, hoping to share her love for horses with others. For Sam, “horses offer a special experience for humans to experiment, grow, and learn skills for life. I get so much enjoyment from watching children develop confidence, resilience, and mastery through their equine experiences.”

The Remond family have included a team of horses for more than 40 years, both on the Central Coast and in rural NSW. Sam and her children have all participated in pony club, State and National competitions, polocrosse, eventing and Royal shows across Australia.

Sam’s professional qualifications include a Bachelor of Education and Certification in Applied Behavioural Analysis. She has experience in teaching children, adolescents and adults in public and private schools, TAFE, university and online. She is an instructor with Pony Club Australia and holds membership with the Australian Horse Riding Centres Association (AHCR). Sam and The Outlook Riding Academy instructors hold current AHRC NCAS Level 1 instructing for lessons.
