Opening Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm | Saturday 8am - 1pm | Sunday Closed

Where to Park & Meet Your Instructor: We recommend that riders arrive 15 minutes before their lesson, providing ample time to park, collect a helmet, stroll to the stables, and await their instructor.

Gate Entrance: Look for the horse sign & white flag at Gate 2.

Location: Gate 2, 256 Scenic Highway, Terrigal, NSW.

Gate Access: Enter through the double black gates, lift the latch, and close the gate once entered.

Parking: Turn a sharp left after entering and park opposite the long shed. Please note that no vehicles are allowed to drive down to the stables or the green shed.

Meeting Point: Leave your car and walk down the road to the “Green Shed”.

Green Shed + Helmet Collection: All riders must collect a helmet from the “Green Shed” – ensure it fits firmly.

Path to Horses & Stables:

  • Walk down the stairs to the horses and horse stables.

  • Instructors will meet riders down at the horse stables.

Observation Area: Visitors and parents are welcome to sit and watch from the viewing platform, equipped with tables and chairs.

Important Note:

The path down to the stables is very steep with loose gravel and uneven surfaces.

The road is not suitable for individuals using walking aids, pregnant individuals, those with bad knees/hips, or those with a pram.

If you need assistance reaching the stables, please call and text Sam 15 minutes before arriving at 0427189567 (especially applicable for individuals with bad hips/prams).

Facilities: There is a toilet available at the stables. No BBQ facilities or alcoholic drinks are permitted.

Lesson start times:

  • We advise riders to arrive 15 minutes before their lesson. This allows time to park, collect a helmet, walk to the stables and wait for their instructor.

  • An instructor will call for the next group of riders once the lesson before has ended & all riders are out of the grooming yard.

  • Riders will come into the yard and meet their designated instructor & handlers.

  • For part of each lesson riders ( with their adult assistants) will catch their horse with a halter, groom, help tack up, lead the horse out of the yard, and then off on a ride.

What to wear:

  • Stretchy long pants, t-shirt or long sleeve shirt & enclosed shoes. A boot with a heel is best.

What to bring:

  • Water bottle, hat, jumper, sun protection, raincoat & gumboots if the weather is forecasting rain.
